Walpole Wombles
This club from the Walpole area of Norfolk, started out as Terrington Young Farmers in the 1960s doing very well before they moved onto the Association circuit. The club has had various names Terrington Young Farmers, Woolpack Wanderers/Wombles and Walpole Wombles.

Westbourne
Westbourne Tug of War Club from Hampshire, was established in 1984 as the White Horse changing their name to the Stags Head in1985 and finally to the Westbourne Club
The team pulled on the Hampshire pubs and clubs circuit for a couple of years before joining the Tug of War Association, the club became inactive in late 1989.
West Pinchbeck
Based at 'The Bridge' Public house in Lincolnshire, this village side started in 1968, like so many, on the fete circuit but certainly made their mark on the larger Association stage in the upcoming years, winning a National, AAA's and European Open Club title. A club that earned itself a reputation as a club to beat.
